Like Diana I lost my MIL 18 years ago and not a day goes by that she does not enter my heart. Diana I bet she and your mama are dancing or playing Bingo together. She is one of the greatest ladies I ever had the fortune to love.

Thank you all for the kind thoughts. KeeWee, I will z-mail you soonest regarding the Moon Flower seeds. I am working on MIL's memorial luncheon for the 10th. There is so much to do.

I'm a member of Seed Savers Exchange from Decorah Iowa and went to there seed conference this past July.

Had a lot of fun learning how to dry and save your seeds how to store and a lot of other things.

I'll try to post my heritage tomato seed list, that I'll be saving this fall, after I find my planting book.

My hibiscus (perennials) are in high bloom this year and are doing great at over 6 1/2 ft high. Anyone interested in seeds, zmail me your address and I'll send you some. I have them in white and dark fuschia. I live in Michigan and these ones are hardy. People we gave seeds to last year say theirs are over 2 feet high this year.

ps: they will be sent out in the next month as the seed pods dry out.

oh gosh, your hibiscus sound very pretty! my backyard doesnt have a lot of sunlight thru the day and I dont have any seeds to trade with you from a garden.

It's probably too late by now, but I have an extra packet of margherita tomato seeds from Park Seeds if anyone wants it. It's a paste tomato that's supposed to be good for cooking or sun drying (I'm trying it for the first time - wish me luck!). If you're interested, zmail me.

Go to "cucumbers" and it will open up another page that displays their varieties of cucumber. Click on "spacemaster" and it will display the product that way.

I work at a nursery in Seward Nebraska and we ship all over the world.
Seeds too. Live plants only in the USA.
You just have to go to your post office and let them know that you are mailing seeds and then they have you fill out customs papers.
No big deal...at least it isn't from this end.
Course you could be sneaky about it too and not tell. Just wrap it really good.

I don't have anything out of the ordinary, HOWEVER, I am now in love with Heirloom tomatoes! I had a big fat one the other day and duh, didn't save a seed! It was,I think, a, oh, I forget the name.... it was huge, meaty, a brownish dark red.. I know it wasn't really striped.

Black Russian, Black from Tula, Could be Brandy Wine, There is another black one but can't recall the name either,. Many tomatoes fit that description. But does sound more like the black Russian.
Where did you get it?
I will see if I can find more for you and maybe we can find the one you had.
Store bought vegetables normally are treated so they won't reproduce but if you bought from a farmers market then they aren't treated (because they can't do that).
