I thought this would be nice if anyone has or wants seeds. Maybe you can list your seeds you have available and seeds you are looking for. I hope you all had a fun season growing your flowers and vegetables. Please make sure all your seeds are properly dried and packaged.

Great idea, Mich! And I have seeds!
I classify mine in two ways ~ fall sow and spring sow. That way, I know if I will need to plant them now or hold them until the ground warms again. Some seeds won't overwinter in the ground, such as zinnias, but it really depends on your zone.
I mostly save flower seeds ~ right now I have castor beans (thanks to YOU for the seeds from last year!), hyacinth beans, zinnias, cleomes, and many others that I will have to go out into the barn and check on in my seed box. I will add more when I get a chance.

Hi all
I think this is a great idea too, I've got seeds from my organic red, orange and yellow bell peppers, jalapeno peppers, and also from some butternut squash...nothing exotic here, just plain old veggies...I don't usually plant from seed as I'm too busy to keep up with the babies, but this year we are as the last few times we've bought plants we've lost them and I can's see wasting the money so I'll start my peppers from seed then have to give them away I'll have so many babies...but what are friends for, right? I've heard that you so many times don't get the same plant from the seeds of hybrid plants, but I'm still game.
We had our first 'backyard garden' last year, with tremendous results from 2 tomatoes, 1 yellow pepper, 1 red pepper, 1 green pepper, and 1 jalapeno pepper. I didn't can anything, but we had fresh peppers and tomatoes up through November, with our long growing season. We lost our squash, cukes, and honeydews to the squash bugs, but had 2 beautiful seedless watermelons, 2 honey tangerines (from our 1st season baby tree), and we also have an avocado and pomegranate planted, but no fruit yet. Onions were great...nothing like going out to the garden and digging up a fresh onion to use with dinner...anyway, I ramble
We want to plant radishes and lettuce this year...have to check the almanac on the lettuces as I haven't a clue, but I think they would do okay now, before it gets too hot. I've heard from a friend of mine that broccoli is great for a home garden, but I don't know how it does here in our hot/humid area...anybody know?
zmail if you'd like any pepper seeds...or butternut squash...

Hello; thanks for offering this thread. It's a great resource for those looking for seeds. I'm debating doing container gardening and a seed variety I'm looking for evades me.
This is what I'm looking for. A bush-type variety of cucumber; it's called the spacemaster. Unfortunately it's not available where I live; compact bush varieties of cucumbers aren't available PERIOD where I live.
I can offer you seeds
for flowers, herbs, and/or vegetables that are available where I live. Please give an idea of what type of seeds (flower, herb, or vegetable) that you're looking for, and I'll do my best to acquire them. If worse comes to worse and I can't acquire a seed that you're looking for, I'll reimburse you via what you paid for the seed packet .
I'm asking this request because I can't order the cucumber seeds via an online seed catalog; the reason is because the only way I have of paying for said seed packet is via a money order, which I know they won't accept. It's not feasible for me to pay for the seed packet via a credit or debit card; if it was, I would take that route.
Here is a link of the type of seed I'm looking for:
http://www.burpee.com/product/vegetables/cucumbers/bush/cucumber+spacemaster++-+1+packet(30seeds).do
I don't know why, but when you click on the link it won't redirect to that product page. You'll have to copy and paste manually into your web browser and then it will redirect to that product on their website.
Or you can click on the link and it will redirect you the homepage of their site. You'll then have to click the "vegetables" link; from there a whole list of vegetables will be listed. Go to "cucumbers" and it will open up another page that displays their varieties of cucumber. Click on "spacemaster" and it will display the product that way.
If you want t0 e-mail in regards to this request you can do so via z-mail on zaar, or you can send an e-mail to one of these addresses:
