I was just looking for creative, whimsical Thanksgiving ideas. I'm doing a big Thanksgiving at my house this year and want to have some cool, fun decorations and food and try to get my kiddos involved.

I already have Rita's Turkey Appetizer on my list.

Any other fun recipes or ideas? Food or otherwise?

We made these with the kids while the turkey was roasting then used them on the table for decorations. They had a blast!!!

Just to share..... I was gonna post this "recipe", but Pumpkie beat me to it! Pilgrim Hat Cookies ... these are fun for kids to make (and eat). Good for school parties....... if your school still allows edible "non-healthy" treats icon_rolleyes.gif .
I've always used yellow icing, but I do like that photo with the orange.

This one is really cute and also ties in the meaning of Thanksgiving. Easy enough for kids to help with.

Yeah, my daughter made those. Very cute. I can't recall which of these two similar recipes it was.

There was a thread on the Holidays board with some good ideas for Decorative foods. I don't know how to make this a link though! icon_redface.gif
