My 17 year old DD is having some friends over for nacho dip, cupcakes, candy and a Hitchcock film festival at our house. They are eating as we speak, so I get the computer!!!!

Most of the plastic ware is my daughter's from the Target clearance last year.

Very nice Jewel! I had help from Target,Esty,Ebay and Kohl's. icon_biggrin.gif My centerpiece is a real pumpkin with that iron spider on top. I thought that was too neat to pass up.

Thanks! I make those spider web brownies every year. My 16 year old son came home from school today and was so excited that I made them. It was funny because he usually has to act so cool and calm. It was like watching his face light up when he was little and I made them. LOL!

My daughter got them last year at Ross 4 / $3.99. You can tell she takes after me, buying plates and decorations while she is still a teenager!!!!!! icon_biggrin.gif Jewel

Oh, Mydesigirl and Jewel, what fun your tables are!!! And so colourful! Great, a feast!!!! icon_biggrin.gif icon_biggrin.gif

Halloween is not really a tradition in South Africa, and I do think we're missing out!!! There is always a vague effort by shops to promote it, but so far it hasn't caught on.

I would love to see a real Halloween night here!

So I really loved your special tables!!! icon_biggrin.gif icon_biggrin.gif icon_biggrin.gif

Bullwinkle, Your tables look great - not at all like you were under the weather!

I love the Halloween tablecloth and those cute ghost napkin/rings!!!! I think my daughter has 2 of those sparkly orange plates like yours.
Your fall table is lovely and I especially love those copper pumpkin napkin rings also the pumpkin plates!!!!! Where did you get them? icon_biggrin.gif Jewel

Zurie, Thanks a bunch! Halloween is lots of fun especially with kids (even teenagers). I just had an empty-nester moment this morning realizing that next year both girls will be at college and DH & I will have our first Halloween alone since 1987. icon_sad.gif icon_cry.gif I got into a bit of a funk, until I hit the after Halloween sales!!!! Got a beautiful orange and black beaded wreath for 50% off. I can look forward to hanging it next year. Retail therapy to the rescue!!!!!!! icon_lol.gif icon_lol.gif
I have now put up all the Halloween (or at least hidden the jack o' lantern faces) and put out my Pilgrims. Next stop Thanksgiving! icon_biggrin.gif Jewel

Thanks Jewel, for the nice comments on my tables.

I got the pumpkin plates at Marshall's. The orange sparkle plates I think I bought at Target last year and I made the napkin rings from a pattern I found somewhere.

I like your spider web runner My husband bought me one at Cracker Barrel but it had orange spiders on it. He also bought the matching placemats. I didn't get to use them this year but there is always next year.

My daughter got the orange sparkle plates from Target last year too! I thought they looked the same. The "runner" is actually placemats lined up. DD got them from Target last year also. Those ghost napkin rings are so cute and you made them? Great job!

I really love those pumpkin napkin rings! I have some resin ones, but they have a white ring around the side and back that I think detracts from the look. I'll have to keep an eye out!!! Thanks, Jewel
