Thank you so much! After bopping around at several TOTM tutorials, I think they should ALL stay stickied. What an enormous wealth of information we all assembled!

I've finally had chance to sit down and read through the finished piece in all its glory - wow what a great read! Very interesting and great that it's going to be a permanent fixture for us all to refer back to icon_wink.gif

Sorry about the typos - *** note to self; try to find 10 mins when the baby is asleep to type (not type with her wriggling on lap!) ***

And thanks Beth for giving me the opportunity to help out a bit - it really was great fun...

Oh Bethie, this is a wonderful tutorial, a colourful cooking lesson!! icon_biggrin.gif

I haven't posted before, because I still haven't finished reading it all. I get caught up ... then have to get up from the computer ...

The photographs are simply great. What a great job you've done!! Please keep this thread firmly as a sticky, so we can refer back to it. In the African Forum some peculiar questions appear, and this will help those of us who try to help!! icon_lol.gif icon_biggrin.gif

Wow, it's been a full year since this was posted. I still refer back to it, too. I *am* quite sad that some of the photos didn't last. icon_sad.gif

    Happy cooking!!

I enjoyed reading this thred. I wish I could add dried lime (loomi, noomi basra, etc!) to it. So many Gulf recipes contain it. Many of my recipes do!
