what you see here in these serviettes are the result of a very happy Grandmother who found an occupation that kept her granddaughter ( moi) happily occupied all day long on wet days while staying over.
I can see every detail of her living room every time I fold these LOL.
Your would be proud Gran....
...everything you taught me is here!

I remember seeing your post yesterday about photobucket troubles. I'll keep checking for photos and add them here when they're posted.
This is sooo wonderful of you to take the time to share all of these...I've already played around just a bit with a couple of the easier ones. Mine don't look even remotely as good as yours do!
I think my absolute favorite one so far is the Lily Pad, but I haven't tried making it yet.

Thanks ! the photobucket hassles are for other photos..travel ones for in the Portugal Forum.
Since I can enter the serviettes onto Zaar as "recipes" I can upload all the photos just as usual... They should come up without any problems once they have been approved.
I will be sure to let you know if I have any problems with any of them... we will see more after the weekend 'cos I'll be away in the UK for a few days. yes?
Don't worry if your first attempts aren't perfect, a little practice goes a loooong way with these and once you've perfected it even just a little, you'll be astounded at how easy they really are
( just don't tell that to your guests when they are Ooh-ing and Ahh-ing LOL)
Do try Marie's Lily you will be shocked at how easy it is !

Wow! I just came across this thread and have really enjoyed looking through all the instructions. Unfortunately I don't even have any cloth napkins yet, but I've got to get some soon. These look like fun and my daughter would be so thrilled to learn how to do these with me.
Thanks for these great ideas .

Sherri35,
I'm busy teaching my 6 year old DD and while her results are way far from perfect she's delighting in learning the processes and it make table setting every even fun.
I was lucky enough to get a whole STACK of cloth serviettes in a sale for a whole 25 and 50 cents ( larger and smaller) each so we are having fun fun fun with colours etc!
DO have a go, many of these are sooo easy you will laugh once you've done it once or twice .. then when you impress your family and friends and just smile knowingly at their ohhs and ahhs..
I will promise to keep a secret and not tell THEM how easy these really are LOL

Just wanted to tell you NCMystery Shopper and Kiwidutch:), that here at the home we have Cafe Ponce, which is an a la carte menu for residents' and their guests, and I copied all your pictures and some directions for one of the ladies from the kitchen and we now have fancier place settings. Thank you very much, Diane
