    Hi everyone!! wave.gif

Nice new home!!! I think this will be good for us and inspire us to do more low fat cooking.
Yesterday I started my new job. Seems like it will be fun, but we will be working hard to get ready to open.
I will be back tonight to catch up.
    Have a great day icon_biggrin.gif

I love it!!! It's so bright and airy...our old home was getting a little cramped. It's sort of like living on a cul-de-sac instead of a really busy road. icon_biggrin.gif

I am at home today...managed one day off this week!! I am doing nothing but relaxing today.

Things at my Starbucks are going really well. Boss is still gone for 2 1/2 more weeks, but I think I am doing a really good job. Being in charge (and our store is a pretty big store with a big lobby and a busy drive through, about 35 employees) has made me realize that if I'm going to work so hard I'd rather work hard for myself instead of someone else...meaning I think I am ready for the responsibility of my own store. That's a good feeling.

Anyway, I was taking one picture to post (of my new cast iron dutch oven) and I ended up taking a few more to show you. They are just pictures of "what Stacy has been up to"...I was thinking I would love to see some pictures of "what (insert your name here) has been up to". Seems like good timing now that we are in our "new" home!! So go out and take some pictures (yes that means you too Susie!!)

Okay...so you all know I am whining about my weight gain and turning 40...well, on top of that my eyes are going!!! I actually had to go and by magnifying glasses at the drugstore!! Scott thinks they are sexy!

I am a "fishing widow"...Here is Scott looking sexy in his new waders...I don't mind being left alone, but when he catches a salmon he just lets it go! He could at least bring one home to feed me!

Next...here is my new Dutch oven!! Cooks Illustrated did an article on them, and they rated this $40 one from Target as high as the $200 pots! The only problem was that Target didn't actually have any in stock, they had discontinued them! Because of the article Target promised to get some...so after 7 months of waiting (and about 5 trips to Target) I finally snatched one up! Isn't she a "beaut"!

We have a great little thrift shop a few blocks away and they are sadly moving locations...but everyting is on "super sale"...so here's some stuff I snatched up cheap for taking food photographs...I especially love the "chinese food plates and bowls"

This summer, besides cookin' I have been gardening and knitting my first sweater!! It's not done yet (still needs sleeves), but you get the idea!

I just love the flowers on these pole beans, we grew them from seed! It's our first crop of bean ever!

Lastly, home improvements...DH decided to build a decorative fence. He has never built a fence, so I was quite worried, it's not done yet, but I think he did pretty good! (please ignore the lawn, Scott obviously has)

Here's how you get by in a 730 sq foot house...My kitchen is getting so cramped, I had to move all my baking ingredients into the "game closet" in the dining room!

Stacy, you are sexy in those mag glasses. Some of my cookware is in my stepson's dresser drawers, and a lot of it is in the garage in big cabinets I had to buy for more storage.

Love your little house. Absolutely darling.

I want one of the dutch ovens. I'm trying to save up enough to get the Williams & Sonoma one (about $285) Hinted for x-mas, but I doubt anyone loves me that much.

I'll share some photo when I get home.

Stacy I agree it is bright and airy!
Ahh to be almost 40! Yes your DH is right they do look sexy!As for Scott! Did he ever go fishing or is that all new gear? O yeah he does look hot!
You are a crafty little thing aren`t you! Nice sweater. Can`t wait to see it on you!

When everything settles down I`ll try to show my place and my other 1/2!

Right now life is not good for us.

My BIL just had an orange size tumor removed from his head.
And they found lung and kidney cancer.
He doesn`t know yet but has 6-8 months! They are doing chemo 3 treatments of it 3 days on 3 weeks off.
Then doing radiation on his head.
If you all can please say a prayer for him and the family.

wave.gif Hey Rita. Glad you found us. Will certainly put your BIL on my prayer list. I'm so sorry to hear this. We're here if you need us.

Toni has been working her assssss off at work and in the Game Forum. I still just do what Toni says. LOL

I'll take some photos of my place in renovation. My walls are smoke stained and I want you to see the it before it disappear so you'll see a before and after photo. Don't give me too much grief over it though. I'm very sensitive you know.

Okay who are we missing. Jan, Carol, Bethie, and who else. I'm tired tonight after the drive in. Traffic is so bad in Hwy. 10 this time of year with all the lake goers.

Talk to you guys tomorrow. I've got one more recipe to do my final test run on this weekend for RSC.

    Get some sleep.

Toni, thanks for the upgrade with our logo. I need to learn to make banner real soon.
