ABC Preschool Snack Ideas

Please post some fun preschool snack ideas for those times when your child's snack has to start with the "letter of the week." As you suggest them, I will edit the list so they're easy to find. By the way, your child's teacher probably prefers things that do not need preparation or refrigeration, and would like to avoid things that are too messy. Please don't send a bag of apples and a knife. Ever tried to keep an eye on 15 kids while you cut up 15 apples in time for snack?
Some snack ideas are healthy, some fun and some both. I hope this list gives everyone some good ideas!

The one I have done before are alphabet letters (which I suppose could be for A or L). I use the recipe for Quick and Easy Mini Soft Pretzels and shape them into letters. I have also done the first letter of the first and last name of every child in the class (Yes, I am an over achiever!).

For Q.. Quesadillas? There are many recipes but just tortillas and cheese would be easiest.

Thanks, Jen! I have to pick the brain of my son's preschool teacher. She sends home a list of suggestions for each letter...if only I'd kept them!!

sandwiches cut out with the letter of the day. We had cookie cutter letters and #'s when our daughter was that age. Her favorite sandwiches were Nutella; Peanut butter and honey or banana; cream cheese and cucumber; turkey bologna; cream cheese and strawberry jam.
