    When I lived in Los Angeles there was a place called Zankou chicken I'm not sure if it was an Armenian or Lebenese place but the garlic sauce they served was amazing. Anyone have an idea of how to make it or what it is really even called?? Any input would be appreciated now im all the way in NY and craving it like mad!!! Thanks

    I found a recipe a week ago....I am not sure whats its officially called...but give me a minute...
    sometimes its referred to tome(garlic) in arabic...

    I think once you whip it in the food processesor it will become light and airy....this sounds like the recipe I have had at most lebanese restaurants..

    I think you are referring to toum.

    Very similar to hummous, but without the tahini, if I remember correctly.

    It's garlicy. If you're aiming for garlicy, toum is what you want.

    Very easy to make.

    **Be sure to read the reviews for the linked recipe above. One of the reviewers mentions the same Lebanese restaurant in LA that you referred to in your post.
