PanNan When I first learned it I was sooo ecstastic too, I even called our local bk to see if it was douwe that they serve and yep it was. Now with my senseo I can have douwe anytime.. I use two pods for a cup of coffee, I just hit two cups but it goes into one. I love this stuff, drinking a cup now

So you can buy them where you are...otherwise I would suggested sending you a selection of the different senseo pads there are many different coffee flavour senseo pads now.

Thanks heather, Did you see the newest one um tassimo, I was thinking about that with the teas but I am not a big gevalia fan and douwe is my favorite, Can you I ask you, do you use one or two pods for a cup of coffee?

I use 1 pod per small coffee cup. I like the senseo because it is very very easy and you can buy several different brands of coffer pods in any grocery store. The tassimo looks nice, but so far, only 1 store near me carries the pods for it.

I checked the tassimo out but I didn't care for the coffee that the pot has to use. I have been using two pods per cup but I like it stronger.. Still trying to figure out what the foam is lol

The foam is the natural oils from the coffee beans.
When I first heard about the senseo machine I thought it came with a "milk" product in the pod so that you can have white coffee. These whiteners often have sugar in and DH is diabetic and so this would not be suitable.
I now buy coffee for one at Albert Heijn. But senseo is becoming more popular and I sometimes cannot find them in the smaller shops when I go over.

i got one too last march. have to agree with ya here...the coffee is not as nice simply because i prefer espresso. thick, strong, black, delicious and real coffee

Consumentengids tested a similar ground coffee thingie [pictured above] but i remember they were not too impressed.

maybe i'll give my Senseo to my Dutchie's father soon...but he already has one...or two.
