    Looking for Flat Stanley Volunteers

DS's class is reading Flat Stanley in school. It is a book about a boy who gets flattened by a bulletin board. One of the things he can now do is travel via an envelope. They have undertaken a project to send "Flat Stanley" on adventures to different places. This will also help introduce them to geography and the world. "Flat Stanley" is a colored laminated picture that comes with an introductory letter to go around with him so it is really like just mailing a letter, not a big package.

I have some folks who will take a "Flat Stanley" on a few adventures but am also looking for some Zaar volunteers to participate. The requirements are that you receive a "Flat Stanley" via snail mail and then either write and snail mail a letter about your adventure with him (and send a photo, if desired) or send an e-mail to the class about your adventure with him (and send a digital photo, if desired). You would then snail mail "Flat Stanley" on to another Zaar folk. They are looking for adventures around the world, so everyone can participate. They have until April 1 to complete this project.

Any volunteers (please!!!)? I'm hoping to begin his adventures this weekend but since he doesn't return until April, there is plenty of time for him to visit!

    Any questions?

    Thanks!

I'm in SE WI (USA) in case you're doing the geography and these are Jr Kindergartners (4-5 yo's).
