    Exactly!!!
The same dough for different shapes. Still, I've been trying to find not only the recipes, but the how the different pan dulces are made, such artists, such fun, and the names and shapes go on and on.

The one shape that I seem to be having the most trouble finding anything about it one shaped like a giant pretzel with large granduals of sugar on them, only found two pictures of them and they were called: Calamares, "Fried Squid" (Pretzel shape Cinnamon flavored dough); although I don't remember any cinnamon flavor.

Maybe I need to apply for a job at a Panaderia as an apprentice......

No, I had not, great link! You wouldn't have a link for the "sweeter, sugar coated pan dulces"? Don't know how I missed that link, I thought I'd spent so much time searching that I come across almost every link on the internet re: pan dulces. icon_biggrin.gif

Molly53, thanks for the three links, they are helpfull, but I'd already been to them, thank you for the effort.

Funny, the first link you gave me: http://www.food.com/bb/viewtopic.zsp?t=325933, it's from this website, right? I put it in the search box above, and it does not come up, I can get to it by clicking on the the link you sent, but I cannot locate it from the search box....odd. Wonder what I'm doing wrong.

You're not doing anything wrong, Medusa. We don't have an internal search capability for forum topics. Only for recipes, members, and ingredients.
