Any chance this function will be added? (Adding a cookbook to favorites).

    You can icon_smile.gif icon_smile.gif icon_smile.gif

Go the cookbook, open it and underneath the title at the top and over the right a little you will see a clickable link Add to Favorites ~ just click and there you go icon_smile.gif

The links are a little hard to see (at least for me) and I think they should be darker and more prominent.

    HTH!

The more I read about how to do it the more I get confused! I'm not a premium member and from what I understand I can have one cookbook. Can I name it and add other people recipes to it or is just for my recipes? I see that I have a cookbook with two recipes but when I click on My Account it shows no cookbook.

    Welcome to the forums, Littlemafia.

All members have one free cookbook to add to. One can add as many recipes from the db as one chooses to that free cookbook. In addition, you have three supplemental cookbooks entitled My Public Recipes, My Recipe Reviews and My Recipe Photos. None of these cookbooks can be re-named. The supplemental cookbooks will be added to as you make contributions to the site.

Premium members can have as many custom cookbooks as they care to create. One can add unlimited amount of recipes from the db to those specialty cookbooks, either one's own contributions or others' contributions.

To add recipes to custom cookbooks, one first needs to create those cookbooks using the directions in the first post in this thread.

To SEE your cookbooks, click on MY COOKBOOKS at the very top of the page. Your free cookbook and the supplemental cookbooks will appear on that page.

Thank you! I got it now, I just wish I could name my cookbook so others could look at it too.

I just saw that my cookbook is private. I cannot make it public?

Thanks so much! Answered most of my questions, except - How do I make my Main Cookbook Public? It doesn't have an option for Edit Cover?

    Thanks

I may not be posting in the right thread! But, since all the changes are occuring at Zaar, I find that my cookbooks seem to be changing all on their own. I would like to preserve the ones that are still intact....is there an easy way to move them to my hard drive? Without copying and pasting each recipe?

I am one of the people that have paid for a premium membership, and then won a prize for another year. Yet my account doesn't reflect my last prize. I won one for Zaar World Tour, and another for TYM Tag. I had also paid for my membership. But now it shows that it expires in 2011. It should be good until 2012. I hope Zaar will no longer give PM memberships as prizes, as they are worthless now.

My main concern is saving the cookbooks that I have....does anyone have any ideas....I loved the PM because I didn't have to eat up my hard drive, but it looks like it isn't going to work. What is the easiest way to move them?

Yikes ~ your cookbooks should not be changing especially since the changes were rolled back to the way Zaar was before. Can you give me a little info as to how they are changing?

There is no easy way to move them as far as I know. The only way I know is one by one, which I agree is a HUGE pain.

Another thing you ought to do, is post in Customer Service and explain to them what is happening with your cookbooks and what browser and version you are using so they can look into it. Your cookbooks shouldn't be changing on their own.

Hi, Stranger. Welcome to the forums.

If you'd like to create a name for yourself, click on MY ACCOUNT at the top of the page, make the changes you wish, scroll down and SAVE CHANGES.

The site is in the middle of a transition to giving all members all the benefits of premium membership. If you aren't already a premium member, it will be somewhen in June before you can utilize those benefits.

If you ARE a premium member, click on MY COOKBOOKS at the top of the page. The box to create new cookbooks is at the bottom right of that page:

There is no option to remove a recipe from my cookbook when I click on the little arrow next to the recipe title. Is this yet another known issue with the site?
