Since we can't "save" our favorite cookbooks, here is a way, using html codes, to link the cookbooks to your About Me pages! When I want to go to a particular cookbook, I just go to my about me page and click on the link. It is a little time consuming, but once it's done, it's very helpful! You can see how they look by clicking on my about me page and scrolling all the way down to the bottom!
Here's how to do it....
When you are in a cookbook you want to save, write down the book number (which is at the end of the web address in the address box) and the name of the book on a piece of paper.
Go to "edit my about me page" and copy and paste the below formula into your about me page text. (I put mine at the very bottom).
Here is the formula:
<li> Did Someone Say Bread!!!???</li>
You will then need to change the # and cookbook title to the cookbook # and title you want to save.
Make sure you save your changes to your about me page.
Repeat the process as many times as you like to save all your favorites!
Thanks this works great!

Hey all,
I am new and just trying to figure everything out. I can't believe that I am just now (less than a month) finding this incredible, wonderful, exciting website. It took me a few weeks but I now a "premium member". Everyone seems to be so friendly and helpful like a family. I am glad I am now part of it. The recipes that I have tried have been huge hits and I have also found lost family recipes.
I will probably have a million questions for a while but I do check FAQ first.
I was following the step by step for the ordering your cookbooks and when I created a cookbook I had the option to do the reordering but "My Main Cookbook" does not give me that option. Is this just for your created cookbooks?
By the way, THANK YOU for the step by step instructions!!!!! They couldn't be easier, it really has helped me except for what I have questioned above.
Thank you

CAN YOU HELP ??? At the present time, there is no way to set up separate sections yourself, BUT you can use the recipe sorter to get the recipes in your cookbook into categories when you just want to look at main dishes or desserts. If you're a premium member, you have the ability to set up multiple custom cookbooks.
I'd like to invite you to click on Everything You Ever Wanted To Know About Your Cookbooks and also Cookbook Organization, EUREKA!! for some terrific information about setting up and organizing your cookbooks.
If you have any questions after that, please feel free to post them and we'll try our darndest to get them answered for you.
Did you know that you can choose a more unique and personal name to go by than a random chef number? Click on MY ACCOUNT at the top of the page, make the changes you wish, scroll down and SAVE CHANGES.

If you want to sort your own recipes in a cookbook category, you could do it in this way. Open up your recipe.....on the left hand side it says Save to Cookbook......click on that and a drop down box will open....scroll to the bottom and click on "New Cookbook".....type in a name and click on Create. A copy of the opened recipe will be save in that cookbook.
Example: Vegetable Side Dishes by (your name)
You can also create another one that is just Vegetable Side Dishes (without your name) that you can save other chefs recipes in by category.
Did I help any?

Regular members can only have the free cookbook, premium members can have multiple cookbooks (no maximum).

Any chance this function will be added? (Adding a cookbook to favorites).
