Hey - while we are on the subject - what wines/liquors do you all tend to keep around in the house for cooking?

Besides at least one type of red and white wine, which I purchase for both cooking and serving, I also have:

    Sherry and Cream Sherry
    Marsala
    Bailey's Irish Cream
    Amaretto
    Mozart Chocolate Liquor
A couple of bottles of ale or very dark beer for making beer bread or stew (We buy Killian's and Sam Adams)
    Kirsch (cherry cordial)
    Dark Rum during the holidays

I like to keep Baileys, Kahluha, I really like Grand Marnier or drambuie-for citrus dishes, brandy-for christmas cakes and puddings and steak sauces, green ginger wine, sherry, port, sake-for Japanese dishes, at the moment I have Malibu, and used it in a pina colada cheesecake for dinner last night................the list could keep growing!

Oh - I forgot about the Port wine! That is one of my favorites. We buy the importd stuff from Portugal and it is really worth the extra $$.

I also love kahlua, but I don't ever remember to buy it.
