    ISO: Low-Fat & Reduced Fat German/BeNeLux Recipes

    Fri Sep 09, 2005 10:17 pm Groupie
    Hi all:

As part of the 'Zaar World Tour, I am looking for German/BeNeLux recipes that are either low-fat or reduced fat. What do I mean by that? For entrees and main dishes should have no more than 10 grams of fat per serving. Snacks and desserts should have 5 or fewer grams of fat.

If you have a favorite recipe that's close, mention it. There may be a way to modify it a bit.

If you are interested, here is the resulting post for French cooking.

Hi Toni - Here's the best I can do from within my Dutch Cookbook.

Rode Kool (Red Cabbage) by PanNan - 3.5 grams Fat
Indonesian Fried Rice (Nasi Goreng) by DayDream - 10 grams Fat
Poffertjes (Tiny Pancakes) by AussieMum 0.8 grams Fat
Dutch Brown Bean Soup by Pet's R Us with 0.3 grams fat
Belgian Endive and Beetroot Salad also by Pet's with 2.6 grams fat
Dutch stewed 'cinnamon' pears (stoofpeertjes) by Bollie with 1 gram fat

Hope some of these can help icon_smile.gif
