I posted this in Customer Support and someone nicely pointed me to this forum.

I am preparing recipe #133826 for tomorrow morning. I cut the recipe exactly in half, but do I also cut the cooking time? The full recipe calls for 10 hours. Thanks in advance. icon_confused.gif

If I cut a recipe in half I generally cut the time and see wht happens. I keep an eye on it and see how it is going. You do not have the same amount of things that require the length of cooking time so you can vary it.

Thanks, Shirl. I "winged it" and I actually succeeded. This dish was so nice to wake up to. We cooked it four hours, but had a small problem with sustaining moisture. I just added a little more milk.

I have been following the news about your new grand-baby for quite sometime now. Congratulations!
