I was so excited to find little Dutch potatoes at Central Market last weekend. I fixed them tonight, plain, with a roasted turkey breast and green beans. What a treat - so fabulous (and for me a walk down memory lane)! A completely different taste and texture from the standard russets, white potatoes, yukons, or red potatoes I'm used to. I hope they carry them year-round.

Pets, I don't know. They were labeled "Dutch potatoes". They were small ovals - about the size of cherry tomatoes, but oval/oblong rather than round. They were very light brown in color, about like the American "white" potato. Firm texture when cooked. So good, not one left!

I think Nicola by your description...and New ones (I mean new season...they get bigger later on in the year) Yes they are nice, also for potato salad
