Our next adventure for our Food, Friends, & Fun #2 teams will be in Morocco! We are going on a Sahara trip of a lifetime as we ride camels through the desert. So pack your bag & let's meet our camels!
 ...........
info about our trip can be found here: http://www.adventurecompany.co.uk/trip-details.aspx?ProductID=35022
Each team was challenged to plan a meal for our trip. Because we will have to carry everything, the menus were limited to 5 dishes (plus a beverage) per meal. Let's see what they came up with for us.
The Food, Friends, & Fun #2 game is an optional part of the RSC contest. We encourage you to look at the contest recipes & select several to review. We need help determining the winners of the contest. http://www.recipezaar.com/contests/info?rcid=7

Hi Sackville Girl! We are playing a game alongside the RSC contest. We are touring the Mediterranean and Morocco is one of our stops.
Thanks for welcoming us.
Here is our game thread if you want to check out the challenges the teams are doing. http://www.recipezaar.com/bb/viewtopic.zsp?t=124179

We, The Sailing Kalamatas , were just not at all sure about what we needed to choose for our menu....so we went directly to the source of all the excitement.
Yep, that's right!!!! We gave that camel the cookbook and said NOW CHOOSE!!!. She came up with the following menu:
We start with Moroccan Beet Salad the we move on to Moroccan Mushroom Couscous and of course we had to have Grilled Moroccan Chicken and we chose a fruit for our dessert....we just didn't think that something real sweet would go with all that dessert heat, so Cinnamon Oranges will complete our meal.
Mrs. Camel assured us that 4 recipes were all that we would be needing, so she so kindly choose Sport and Misty's Horse Cookies for the camels to eat.....she said that this recipe would work just fine for the camels.....and they get hungry too!!!!!!!
She assured us that water was all we needed to drink, afterall, it is the drink of choice for camels and if it was good enough for them, it was good enough for us!!! Besides, if we chose something else to drink, that would just be that much more stuff that she would have to carry. She assured us...THAT WAS NOT GOING TO HAPPEN!!!!
So for now we are calling ourselves The Riding Kalamatas and we ride off into the sunset.....

Thank you Pets...That is really scrumpdeli-icious...
I see you and Fairy are just returning from the carwash with your beasties, James and Russell Crowe...
Sooooo Lishen Shweethawt... What are you doing here in the Cazzhbah?
His voice was low and mysterious. I could feel the chill of the night air across my bare shoulders. I could not stop the shudder. His aftershave enveloped me..
I averted his gaze as I turned slowly; there he was. His half closed eyes watching my every move. I felt undressed; I was entranced, I could not move. I could feel trickles of perspiration down my back. He took my hand, and I.........
....... fell out of my cot.
The bleating of my camel Camilla (Cammie for short) as she batted her eyelashes at Petsie Poo's camel, James, and Fairy's camel RussellCrowe.. (Russie for short). Russie is so named because the real Russell Crowe spits at people also.
James is a rather sedate name don't you think. James comes from England, where camels are in very high demand, and in large supply, but soon they will run out.
The British camel breeders cannot keep up with the demand... They are efficient; do not run on gas; keep the lawn mowed, sleep outdoors, and provide you with a never ending supply of organic materials needed for the growth of super-size zucchini...
They do not need to be walked... bathing??? you ask??? well we just send them through the car wash. Cleans them up nicely but they really could do without
the Carnuba hot wax; It weighs down their eye lashes, and the mascara runs..down their cute little cheeks. Have you ever seen a camel with runny mascara?... Not Pretty!!! They get verrrry upset...
But I digress.
James and Camilla were decorating each other's eye lashes, while Aloyisius (Ally), was guffawing at the goings on. Ally is Ameera's beast of
the desert. She rides Ally to work each morning, and back home again next day; bluemoon downunder enjoys the antics of her young camel called
smallstream notflowing (smally for short). So there you have it, our five camels, all cleaned and polished, ready to go... Camilla, James, Russell, Aloyisius, and smallstream notflowing.
Now where do I put the key to turn this thing on?
How you doing back there, Fairy? You get your critter going?
PetsiePoo, I really wish you would not borrow my things for your riding holiday. You look just like me, what will people think when you try to hold your glass in the same hand as the hammer??? Think of my reputation....
That goes for you too Fairy... Admiration is one thing, but this is a bit much
