    Hi,

I love the Rival Versaware crockpot I bought about a month ago. The stoneware isn't as heavy as the stoneware in other crockpots. I find it easier to put food in, dip it out, and to clean than the traditional designed crockpots. It only has high and low settings. But I find that's fine for me. I've used it on both the high and low setting with great results. I use it a lot to cook chicken and make a concentrated no-salt broth, at the same time.

Other features, that I haven't tried yet: Can use on top of stove to saute (on med heat, I think). Go from crockpot base to table. Go from crock pot base to refrigerator.

Here's the website link to the Versaware. It's a lot cheaper at Meijers. At our Meijers, I believe, the regular price is $41.00.

Boy that sounds like a great CP. Once you get used to using them, they sure are handy especially in the summer months. icon_smile.gif
