    Is this standard Kool Aid?

I have a cookbook from Better Homes and Gardens from the late 70's, early 80's for Kids Snacks. For my son, I want to make a shake-like drink and the ingredients are:

    1/2 cup sugar
1 envelope unsweetened soft drink mix (any flavor)
    milk
    vanilla ice cream

Yes, the stuff in small envelopes in the drink mix section.

This sounds good, I think I will make it for my kids. icon_biggrin.gif

Most likely it's those thin Koolaid brand packages that come in many flavors. You can use them to make snow cone syrup too!
