    I need a gluten free salad dressing to take to a friend's house for dinner. She also can't have sugar! icon_sad.gif

    I have access to heaps of GF salad dressings. What sort would you like ?

    maybe a creamy one or two and an oil and vineagar type one- I'd like to offer her (my friend) some options!

    Here's just a few.
    There's some here as well - many salad dressings are naturally GF, the sugar free is the tricky bit. I'm assuming dairy is OK.
    These are just a few of the 5 star recipes. Be sure to check that any dried herbs you use do not have any wheat based fillers.

    Creamy Italian Salad Dressing
    Lemon-Garlic-Oregano Dressing
    Creamy Cucumber Dressing
    Creamy Chili Dressing
    Creamy Ranch Dressing
    House Italian Dressing
    Real French Dressing (not Catalina)
    Andrea's Grandmother's Greek Dressing



    Apple Juice Vinaigrette

    4 Tbsp (1/4 cup) olive oil
    2 Tbsp (6 tsp) lemon juice
    1/2 cup apple juice
    1/4 tsp salt
    1/2 tsp minced garlic

    Combine in in blender. Process until well combined. Immediately pour over
    salad.

    Makes 3/4 cups vinaigrette, Serves 4-6.

    ---------------------------

    Italian Dressing

    2 Tbsp (6 tsp) water
    1 Tbsp (3 tsp) olive oil
    1 Tbsp (3 tsp) lime juice
    1/2 tsp onion powder
    1/4 tsp oregano
    pinch of garlic powder
    pinch of salt

    In a bowl, whisk everything together.

    ---------------------------
    Avacado Dressing

    1 medium avacado, ripe
    2 cloves garlic, minced
    2 round Tbsp (6 tsp) chopped onions
    1/4 cup of unrefined oil
    sea salt to taste

    Blend in blender until smooth. Serve on salad immediately.
    -------------------------------

    Lemon-Garlic Dressing

    1/2 cup olive or vegetable oil
    2 - 3 garlic cloves, peeled, halved, and speared on toothpicks
    1/2 cup lemon juice
    salt to taste

    In a small bowl, combine oil, lemon juice, and salt. Drop in the garlic spears. Let stand at room temperature for about 1 hour. Remove garlic just prior to serving.
