Soup Mix in crockpot

Some of my crockpot recipes call for cream of mushroom/celery/chicken soup. Has anyone ever tried the cream soup mix in the crockpot? It is a mix you make yourself ahead of time with powdered milk, cornstarch, boullion and seasonings. I'm curious if anyone has tried this before.
