I have a 6-quart Proctor Silex crock pot. It's a bit older...it is off-white, has a removable crock, and has a graphic of a chive in bloom on the front. I lost the instruction booklet.

The settings are 1, 2 and Auto-shift. Auto-shift starts high for a few hours and shifts to low. Which is "low" 1 or 2??? I can come up with compelling logic either way. If anyone has this slow cooker, can you please check your book and tell me? I usually get by using auto-shift, but I have a recipe that really needs to be on low the whole time.

    Thank you!!
