Whats for eats this weekend? 2/18-2/20

    Fri Feb 18, 2005 12:24 am Groupie
My folks are coming into town this weekend and I'm hoping to find something new and fun to try for dinners.

They actually wont be here until Saturday am and will leave monday am. I need ideas for lunch on Saturday & Sunday. Breakfast on Sunday & Monday and Dinner on Satuday & Sunday.

We need to limit dairy as my dad is allergic. They will eat ANYTHING (ugh they like liver yuck.gif) and I have a LOT of food in the house. lots of stuff for salads, all kinds of meats (chicken, fish, shrimp, beef) Mum is NOT a big fish eater like myself.

What would you serve to guests that you really wanted to impress that is SBD friendly and has simply found ingredients?

PS my new fave find is Pecorino Romano cheese...I LOVE that stuff... icon_redface.gif

Tonight is pizza night but I'm having a salad.

Saturday night is Nogales Steak Tacos either with low carb tortillas or I may just skip that part entirely.

Sunday is Steamed and Roasted Whole Duck (I know SB doc doesn't really approve of duck but screw him I'm not eating potatoes. icon_wink.gif icon_lol.gif ) with Roasted Asparagus with Brown Butter and Pecorino

For lunches I am going to make Quick White Bean and Spinach Soup and Garlic Ricotta Stuffed Mushrooms
