    Dinner Tonight? 2/7

    Mon Feb 07, 2005 10:01 am Groupie
Sorry Jen, I hope I'm not stepping on your toes...but I'm desperate...I have no idea what to make for dinner tonight.

I have just about any meat in he house (chicken, gr. beef, gr. turkey, pork chops, stir fry meat) and a wide variety of veggies (have some sweet spuds I'd like to use)....just no ideas.

My ONE Criteria is that it be re-heatable as I am going to work tonight.

    Any ideas would be great!

Carrie, you sound like me. I have everything here, but just don't know what I want to make either.

I was thinking maybe Husker Chops by Sly Girl.

Here's my public cookbook: "Dinner in 1 Hour (or less"
if you want to take a peak.

I think I'll do the chops tomorrow night. Instead, I've decided on I Hate Ricotta Lasagna w/Meat Sauce and 3 Cheeses.

You are not stepping on any toes! Post away icon_lol.gif

I'm at work and don't have much time to check stuff...

The one that jumped out at me would be Sante Fe Chowder #64037 with some grilled or baked meat. But I'm not sure your kids will eat the chowder... it just looked tasty and like it would reheat. Let me look some more...

Would your kids eat this? Sweet Potato Shepherds Pie #9623

or this? Sweet Potato Chili #86552

Let us know what you chose!

It's going to be the Sweet Potato Shepherd's Pie...perfect for my South Beach diet and hopefully the kids will like it!

Thanks for the great ideas everyone!
