Great to hear Dave is coming home soon and the antibiotics worked....it's a bugger when you have to go through the process of trying them to see which one works and which doesn't. You must be exausted Jewelies...I know what it's like sitting in hosptitals waiting ...just waiting lolol the stress of worrying about Dave is enough to make you tired...let alone caring for your 2 gorgeous daughters on your own....take care and try to get your feet up for a while today [ or is that a silly suggestion with small kids?].

Got this email from Jewelies this morning. I'm sure she won't mind me passing the information along to all those who are concerned about Dave.

'Dave came home from hospital today, he’s a lot better and very lucky that the antibiotics worked. He has a nurse coming round home to change the bandages etc for the next couple of days. He’s still a bit wonky on his feet though – I’m sure they are pretty strong tablets he’s now on.

The girls have been absolutely brilliant. Amber is the best little helper and helps so much with Ruby.'

Dave seems much better, thanks to everyone for all your support. The nurse had been this morning and he's on the phone right now organising work for tomorrow icon_rolleyes.gif icon_rolleyes.gif icon_rolleyes.gif

Like Kooka said, the girls have just been fantastic. Not as much fun for Amber when Dad isn't here to take her for her after dinner bike ride down to the bridge!

It's a beautiful day here today, we might just have to have a lazy day fishing out in the backyard.

    Sounds like the life icon_wink.gif

Once again, say Hi to Dave, and tell him not to overdo that work stuff too soon!

I got the news that I'll be keeping my job. Our pyscho head chef is gone, the second chef is staying and I look like I'll have a lot of work over the next two weeks. Our boss did a lot of shifts, so I have picked those up while the new owners settle in. We are having a new menu, and different vegies and alsads, new entrees, and new equipment will be arriving soon. I'll just wait and see how I feel about the new owners now before I do anything-at least give them the couple of weeks.
I'm so happy Jewelies is here to keep an eye on you all icon_wink.gif

I am going to a funeral tomorrow. My friends son stepped off a tram 5 weeks ago and was hit by a car, he was on life support until last week. He died on Saturday. Jason was a lovely boy who was 20 and friends with my sons. I went to see his mum today, it was so sad.

    How's everyone else going?
