    What I'm doing tomarro is my personal fav: I throw frozen short beef ribs in the crock, some celery and beef bouillon sprinkles on top. That's it.

    For hypertension, I would suggest something more like tomatoes and maybe some chili on top to lessen the sodium, unless you HAVE some low sodium broth - just about 1/2 - 1 C.

    Also, a taco soup would be good if you use hamburger meat, unsalted tomatoes, unsalted tortilla chips and unsalted corn and unsalted black or pinto beans. Throw in some cumin and chili pepper for the spice. Use MORE spices than salt to control the hypertension.
