Hi Loree...glad you found your way here! I believe you can still buy those pies in most supermarkets over here and they've been around for decades, so they must be OK! Hope you get to travel to theUK soon so that yu can pick some up!

I cant believe that there is still access to threads that are 6 years old, where do you find them???? yes they are Frey Bentos and probably only available here in the UK

I'm from England and am always looking for English food.
Recently I ordered quite a lot of English food from an online store I found.
In our order were Fray Bentos steak and kidney pies, used to eat them with my best friend when we were young!
They weren't too expensive and yummy. Brought back great memories.

Shipping was a bit costly but worth it anyway and we made a large order to get the most out of the cost but there is no minimum order.

I popped in today to see if anyone knows where I can buy kidneys for the steak and kidney pie I make at home?
I live in the Rancho Cucamonga area (Inland Empire) in California. Available grocery stores would be Stater Bros, Vons, Albertsons and Ive not been able to find them there.

There are three things that I will miss about my homeland til the day I day-Fish n Chips, Steak and Kidney pie and fresh sausage rolls from the bakery on the corner! If you can find an english import shop which sells Sainsbury brand I remember those as being scrumptious!
