Tell us about what you are making! Post a picture if you can.
I like to create new original breads of my own. Right now I am working on a recipe for Sourdough Cranberry Orange Bread. I have the recipe all written out and now I have to mix it up and see if it works before I post it.

First it doesn't want to post my reply and then it posts too many of them.

Baked Doughnuts (no Frying!!!!!) by MissyMT
They're more of a soft, rich(in butter and egg) bun than doughnuts... I guess they're sort of doughnuty if you have an icing on them. I did a few jam doughnut versions of it by rolling out the dough thinner then cutting out two rounds and putting a blob of jam on one round, wetting the outside edges of both circles of dough and sticking them together. They sealed up quite nicely Also did two red bean paste buns/doughnuts in the same way but I've not tried those yet. I think I might brush them with melted butter first then roll those ones in caster sugar

Grandma Eva's Onion Board (pletzel) #95234
by me. Sorry about the shameless plug, but can't get enough of this stuff and would love one of you afficionados to give it a try! And Raisin Pumpernickel Bread #42628 by Sharon123. This is a wonderful bread, but note that I've been more successful with making 2 instead of 3 loaves. Enjoy!

Almost all the breads I've baked lately have been your recipes Donna!!
BTW, is this forum for muffins & quick breads too?? I have a weakness for muffins.

Just made bread last Sunday. I use a recipe from and old tatter cookbook containing 4H State Fair winning recipes. I hadn't used that recipe since I got my bread machine. Boy was it good. The bread machine can't make bread like you can from hand. I will check and see if the recipe is posted yet and post if not.

My all time favorite...
Mini Bread Loaves recipe #107259
I make this recipe once a week at home and once a week for the after- school program. If you use high gluten flour this makes up to 22 "baby" breads.

This is the one I made last week and I am so addicted to it! I keep coming up with more and more reasons to eat it!
Of course I tell myself it's 100% whole wheat so it's good for me.
It's wonderful toasted too.

I'm quick becoming a fan of Olga Drozd's sweet yeast breads. The two I made were just fabulous.
Ukrainian Poppy Seed Roll recipe #77541
Ukrainian Country BABKA recipe #78678
And Audrey M's Garlic and Dried Tomato Bread recipe #44605 is very good, too. You can see the picture if you click on this link. I don't know how to put a picture in this thread.

Got a request from a coworker for my Garlic Herb Pepperoni Bread which I baked Thursday night. Also last week I made muffins using this Banana Bread recipe. They are marvelous warmed in the micro for 10-15 seconds.
