I'm cooking country style ribs in the crock pot right now. I've never made them before. I poured a bottle of Jack Daniels Grilling Sauce over them and I'll wait until this afternoon to see how they turn out. Does anyone have any suggestions for how to cook these little buggers?

What you are doing should work. I usually do mine in the oven. I just pour a bottle of my favorite BBQ sauce over them and cover them with foil, which I then remove for the last few minutes to reduce some of the liquid before I serve them.

This is my favorite recipe for country style ribs. The meat falls right off the bones, it's really yummy...

Elizabeth when I threw this recipe together I did it for beef short ribs but at the time I thought "I'll try this with Country spare ribs one day" who knows I think it will be good [recipennnnn]Crockpot Shortribs with Hoisin & Blackbeans[/recipe] I am having trouble submitting this I hope it doesn't result in several postings. When I "submit" it comes up error cannot connect to data base. So my apology if it is coming up multi timesssssss!!

I think I'm going to have to try y'all 's recipes because I wasn't too happy with the results last night. Of course it would have helped if my husband had come home and turned off the crock pot several hours before I got home as promised. They weren't too tough, but I'm definitely going to have to make my own sauce. Thanks for your help.
