Where is the recently reviewed section on the main page?

I noticed that for the past 2 days I have not seen the section on the right hand side of the main page where we could select the reviews that were submitted the prior day, the new recipes that were posted the prior day, and the new photos and cookbooks that were posted the prior day. The entire section is blank.

That section used to be on the page all the time. What's going on?

    Thanks,
    Okra

To better state my question: Is the 'Newest' section supposed to be displayed and updated every day?

    Thank you.

Yes, and that has been happening. But on Sunday there was some type of glitch and the box disappeared, was not there yesterday, technical staff was alerted and now it's back.
