Dee514 I had to chuckle at the Nutella cookie recipe. Only because I lived in Germany for 8 years and tried to cook all kinds of things with Nutella. I love Nutella but in the end I decided that nothing compared with it's original reason for being, and that was, for putting on a slice of sour dough bread. I'm sure your recipe tasted great though. icon_biggrin.gif

Did you ever find the recipe you were looking for? My mother made those same cookies. I have the recipe if you would like it. She called them "Frit di chich".

e! happened on this conversation as my friends and family are making these for Christmas. Phonetically we call them "Ka-jeans" and there are slight differences from one family to the next, just because we like to be a little different sometimes from one another. icon_smile.gif
