I want to say "thank you" for a 5-star review, but I've tried and tried and I cannot open AYLIX's profile page to post a thank you note!!

I'd like to post a screen shot of what I get -- a white page plus ads -- but don't know how to do it.

    NOW what is wrong???

Food.com has some seriously weird stuff happening.
I followed the link above to see which recipe of Zurie's that Aylix had made.
The link goes to Aylix's page which says she/he hasn't reviewed any recipes. So I clicked on his/her page under My Stats where it says Recipe Reviews and got a page for a completely different person. A rfran228_12340386.
Neither chef has a chef number.
Then I went back to Aylix's page and clicked on 'send message' and got an error message.

I took a couple of screen shots, but can't get them to load. I think if you follow the links, you'll get the same result. It's happened to me more than once.

Peggy, she made a Sowetan-style recipe with chickpeas and ... I forget the title. I posted it long ago for (I think) a ZWT. I was amazed to find a 5 star review from Aylix.

    It's missing ... ?

I'll check Mary's link and see if I can trace my own recipe.

Mary, today I opened someone else's profile page, no problem. NO idea what was wrong yesterday.

    EDITED to add:

Here's a copy of the notification in my Inbox:

One of your recipes on Food.com has been reviewed:

Sweet Potato and Chickpea Fritters from Soweto (#320339)

    Reviewer: aylix
    Rating: 5 stars
Comments: This was sooooo very good! Very easy to make. I increased the recipe to 10 servings and I had difficulty getting it to the consistency of being able to roll it in my hand. It was like trying to roll mashed potatoes. I added a lot more flour and still couldn't get it to roll in my hand. Next time I will not add any more flour and just plop it in the pan. I made a Peri Peri sauce to go with it. They were gobbled up in seconds.

Mary, your link works, but Peggy is right -- her page shows NO reviews! But her review is on my recipe.

I suppose that should be corrected on her page?

AND ... frustration -- she does not accept mail! icon_rolleyes.gif

Aylix's review of my recipe has still not been added to her Profile page.

Zurie, the problem is bigger than that.

If you click on the link Mary provided, you go to aylix's About Me page.
Once there, you will see, aylix has NO chef number and no reviews.

If you click on Recipe Reviews in the My Stats box. You are taken to
    a page of a completely different person -- rfran228_12340386 --
who also has NO chef number.

If you click on the reviews heading just under where is says aylix is from
Canada, is says there are no reviews, but at the right is a Whoops, this
    page not found message.

Aylix's About Me page says she/he has 15 recipes. Similar goofy stuff
happens if you click on the Public Recipes in the stats box or in the
string of headers running across the about Me Page.

I doubt that aylix's review will ever been added to her/his page until
Food.com sorts out why this other confusion is happening.

Go ahead, try it Zurie. It's been happening to me since I first reported it.
It's not a cookies and cache issue (done that) and I noticed a little while
back that click on one chef's details took someone to a different chef's
page. Wonder if I can find that thread again?

Gee, that sounds like a merry-go-round to me.

How will all these glitches EVER be sorted out and corrected???

I'll do what you say -- I just wonder to how many other chefs this kind of thing is happening.

Good grief. I click on her 15 recipes, and is taken to a general "best recipes" page, not hers at all.

    I back-page, and there's more general recipes.

I back-page again, and I'm at Aylix's AM page (chef no 0 !!!) But now there's a large Betty Crocker ad obscuring her list of recipes/reviews/photos, etc. The ad cannot be clicked away, it just sits there.

That's where I gave up. If I were a new member, and that happened to my page, I'd hotfoot it out of here. (Not that she has anything much on her page, but what if she had??) icon_evil.gif

So you are seeing the same things that I am seeing. It has nothing to do with clearing cache and cookies, or our providers, or your PC or my Mac. We're on two different continents and having the same problem.
Very discouraging. I've noticed a lot of other problems tonight (my time). Hard to maintain the struggle.

There is definitely something wonky going on with that user's account. I'll have the team take a look.
