Overcome with the desire to make Duonyte's No Knead Soughdough Bread, I just bought the Sassafras Super Dome Bread Baker. Drool Drool I promise to post a pic of my first loaf. Still waiting for my starter to arrive and get going before I try it. All of you are so inspirational...thanks so much!

Ah...yes...but you wanted to be led astray.

I looked the super dome baker up and that's a beauty. And..it's on sale! Instead of $60, it's only $57. What a sale at Amazon!

Thanks Duonyte and Red. I got both the starter and the dome from Breadtopia. The dome was only (yeah right!) $47 on their site. The starter got very good reviews on Amazon. One review even had a scientist determining what it consisted of and giving it the green light.
And true Red, I did want to be led astray. icon_smile.gif

Congratulations! I purchased the dome and oblong cloche from Eric at Breadtopia.com a few years ago. I actually use the oblong one the most, and it's developed a lot of "character." I made two loaves in it this weekend. I use parchment paper to make the dough handling easier. Here's what you have to look forward to.

You just have to love those beautiful "ears."

Joe, I can only hope to have my efforts come out as gorgeous as yours. Thanks for the review and the pictures. I will post pictures of my dome which shaped a tad differently than yours and the results of my first loaf. So excited!
