So Cal.. I'm really curious. You have mentioned your studio a number of times. Is it for art?

Well, I call it my studio/study because sometimes I use it more as a studio and sometimes I use it more as a study. When it's been more of a studio, I've done all kinds of creative projects there: drawing, painting, refinishing furniture, custom sewing (including designing and making costumes for parties), silk flower arranging, knitting and crocheting, dancing (I never thought about that before, but it's been my dance studio too), etc. I think I usually tend to create when I want or need something I can't buy, rather than creating for the sake of creating. So when I don't want or need anything like that, it's my study.

At the moment it's just an empty room...which isn't all bad...the acoustics in there are amazing. I may take up opera next, and make it into my recording studio (but probably not icon_lol.gif )!

Laundry, scrubbing floors and hoping to begin going through winter clothes. After losing 30 lbs over the past few months NOTHING fits and hoping I find some "skinny jeans" in the mix somewhere.

30 pounds! That’s awesome MaMere!!! icon_cool.gif You are much disciplined with food and exercise.

I can say that nothing fits me either, and I hope I can find some stretched out- worn out jeans, or elastic waist pants somewhere in my winter clothes stash. icon_eek.gif I gained 10 pounds somehow! And again... icon_eek.gif I don't think I can give up eating much more food. I need to exercise more, but I'm too damn tired. *yawn* icon_lol.gif

As for as what's up today....I hope Food.com gets things back to normal pretty soon! I still do not get notifications, nor can I stay logged in!!!! icon_mad.gif

A collection bin to benefit homeless women and children opened up a couple of months and is asking for clothing donations. Soo... I bagged up 15 pairs of shoes that I haven't worn in years and 21 pairs of size 28-30 waist denim jeans/pants that I will never fit into ever again.

I ain't ever going to fit my 48yo butt in jeans that I wore ten years ago. Who am I fooling?

Thank you Olive! Tell you the Gods honest truth, I didn't know I needed to lose it till I did, if that makes sense? I had gotten to a place in life where I didn't feel good, couldn't lose weight for any amount of exercise (hour and a half per day and still no loss) or starvation and decided it was time to turn it around.

Thanks guys, and congratulations to the others who have lost weight, stay healthy!

If you can clear out your closet for philanthropic causes even better. There is lots of stuff in all of our closets that can be used by persons in need that we won't miss.

I find that I purge constantly. I just keep a bag on the floor of my closet and anything that I am bored of or feels uncomfortable goes straight in the bag.

It is now time to put away the summer stuff and drag out the sweaters. I had to open the storage container the other night to grab a sweater as we were going to an outdoor festival and it was quite chilly. I was happy to see that I had stuff in there that I bought at the end of last season that I had forgotten about. It was almost like Christmas! icon_biggrin.gif
