What? No critters around your house? We've got to remedy this right away. The very first move is to make you an official "Auntie du Jour".
And may I introduce your first adoptee, Truly Mine! A sweet, well behaved Papillon who has just crawled on to you lap for cuddling. She is excited to get to know you better....and, if anybody can put her picture up here, you will see her big smile. Oh, you can't say no to this idea cause there will be many more fur buddies coming your way.

Sorry for the hijack, but I acted on impulse.

Shadow is a pretty Calico but I had an ugly one when I was a kid named Sneeze.

She had a solid black gorgeous color all over her body but her head and face had like ten different colors. That was one very strange looking cat. It looked like she had 'sneezed' on herself. icon_smile.gif

I have learned that Shadow's coloration is called "tortoiseshell"... she got her name because she literally blends into the shadows..... the first night she was here and out and about I almost tripped over her three times! Thus the name!

And as for Chef Du Jour: you don't need to actually own a pet to feel welcome here. As long as you like hanging out with us, you'll do great!
