I'm not sure about the meat portion of my
    meal, but the sides are:
    Italian Green Beans
    and Potato Pancakes.
I'll be back when I figure out the meat portion. icon_biggrin.gif

A good friend is coming back in town after being away for 3 months. He said he would pick up something. No clue.

But, I am going to make him a pot of chicken, vegetable, pasta soup; and a loaf of bread for him to take home. At least he will have something in the fridge to eat.

It's Minimal Effort Thursday (it IS Thursday, right?) - we've got a pasta dish with pork sugo up that I pulled out of the freezer. Just gotta dump it in a pan, dump some cheese on top, and heat through. Bread's already baked, and I guess salad.

I am GOING to get that freezer emptied and defrosted this fall if it KILLS me.

Oh, and maybe I'll have peach tart for dessert. Even though there's still peach fro-yo in the freezer. icon_rolleyes.gif

I'm going with a pork chop recipe I saw on fb. I will saute some spinach with garlic and onions and toss in some of Oven-Dried Tomatoes and likely make potatoes of some sort.

For my DH Pizza (he's working OT right now due to a massive screw up at work so dinners together are a no go at the moment-pizza will make him happy) and I'm in the mood for Tomato Soup, my tomato soup icon_wink.gif

DH got very little sleep yesterday, worked last night, had a safety meeting this morning and has to get up in the middle of his night to take me to see surgeon for follow up & hopefully I'll be released to drive (not been able to drive for over 10 weeks). I think we will probably grab something on the way home so he can have a nap before working again tonight.

Sending good thoughts for your release! Not being able to drive just sucks!
