As you are all WELL aware, things have been a little TOO crazy lately in the forums with tons of issues caused by our last release. And I know that you are all completely frustrated. And you're way more frustrated than you need to be because we didn't handle it well.

Stuff happens: releases happen and things go wrong. The forums took the brunt of it on this release for sure. And then on top of that, we didn't really inform you guys exactly what was happening. I take the blame for that.

Mary is in here a lot and is doing a great job and is trying to answer every question, report every bug to us and that is great, but you guys needed and deserved an announcement: This is what happened, this is what's broken, this is what we're doing to fix it, etc.

    I'm really, really sorry.

I'm not posting this to get into a debate about anything. We do beta test, we aren't run by interns, we aren't trying to unbuild the site, but just to say on behalf of all of us, we feel really badly and have learned from this and will do better in the future.

    I promise.

    (posting this in CS too)

Editing to add...the team is working really hard on many fixes you guys are frustrated by and hope to get a lot of them out this week.

Thank you Liza. I think most of us understand things aren't black and white anymore. One thing leads to another and so on. Every now and than we just need to vent.

Thank you Liza. At least we know that your staff is aware of the problem and they are working on it.
