We have an incredible bread bakery downtown-- But I can't run down/afford to continue purchasing LIGHT WHEAT sandwhich bread at $6 per loaf HA HA

I see on their ingredients list that they use ONLY 2 types of wheat, salt, yeast, water..NO oil or egg or milk! And its delicious

Anybody know about a recipe similar to this one?? I really need to be able to make a LIGHT WHEAT, I grind/mill my own organic grains

    thanks fellow breadmakers!

Light whole wheat bread is usually made with a combination of whole grain flour and white flour. It's all still wheat flour, of course.
