Well, I thought I had patties made up in the freezer ... I did, but sliders, I forgot. But, I had 1/4 lb beef, and about 1/4 turkey; so, I took that out, and made a Ranch Burger. Ranch seasoning ... not my favorite, but I had about 1/3 of a pack, so - a Ranch burger it would be. Grilled and topped with swiss cheese, BBQ sauce, and Onions and Mushrooms I cooked in a foil pouch w/very little butter, s/p.
Honestly, it tasted fantastic. I served it over some chopped lettuce. Corn on the cob with garlic butter, and a grilled peach which I brushed with honey and olive oil to grill.

Good grief, what a gorgeous burger!!!

That #1 is a stunning photo -- the lovely green of the lettuce shows off the burger with its yummy topping to perfection! Mama mia! You know how to eat well, and healthy too! icon_biggrin.gif icon_lol.gif

Thx Zurie, since hurting my knee; I haven't cooked much at all. Relying on Freezer items, and Stouffers. So, TOO many carbs. I figured I would go a bit healthier. It really was a delicious burger, for just a mix of this and that. I hardly ever use Ranch dressing, especially the mix; but, it was good.

Sometimes, burgers are just too much for me with all the bread. This was perfectly filling; and NO bread.
I had the second peach I grilled with cottage cheese this am. Quite tasty. I love them grilled.Just a little honey, and they come out sugary sweet. Really good.

And Thx, I appreciate your nice comments.

Just an idea for you, which has worked for me: those large open brown mushrooms, lightly fried, are quite nice under, maybe also on top, of a burger!! And no fattening bun! icon_wink.gif

That second photo has major drool appeal, know what you mean about carbs as I feel better when I cut them back some.

    Wonderful SC!

I never eat buns.. I always eat burgers on a plate w/chopped lettuce, onions, tomatoes and pickles and just squirt ketchup/mustard, maybe mayo here and there.

    Thx Amber and Twinie ...
I do like bunless now and then. Nice to cut the carbs a bit; but, you can still add tons of flavor.
I'm all for a burger on a bun ... but, you can also enjoy a good burger without the bun too. Just nice to switch it up from time to time.

    Thx guys

Thx paymaster ... I really like going bunless now and then rotfl.gif
But, honestly, It just fun to change it up a bit; without all the extra carbs. But plenty of flavor.
Thank you for the nice compliment. I had some odd lighting; but, tried to fix the best I could.
