Hey menu friends!!!! How is everyone?

I had a wonderful birthday on Wednesday. My family took me to Farrell's Ice Cream Parlor for dinner and ice cream. So much fun. BUT...this Sunday they are doing my birthday dinner!!!! So excited.

I'm still in the ZWT, so I have blanks in my menu, but here is what I have.
    Share yours!!!

Saturday - Will fix up stuff from farmer's market. Probably just me and DH.

Sunday - my birthday dinner - I'm weird, but I'm craving hot dogs! So I want them to fix up gourmet hot dogs with fancy fixin's! With a strawberry banana salad and Charmie's Baked Macaroni and Cheese. Dessert - something chocolate!

    Monday - tour recipe

Tuesday - I have a dentist appt at night, so I'll be putting this in the crockpot Ziti Pepperoni Casserole, with salad

    Wednesday - tour recipe

Thursday - African Saucy Chicken with rice and vegies

Friday - leftovers or out to eat.

C, glad you had a great dinner. Love Farrels. And, I totally agree with the hot dog and mac and cheese; and growing up ... Strawberry, banana, and orange was one salad we had all the time.

    Morning all!
Still haven't got the results of my sons MRI, but, if it was serious; they would of called. They called and said you could pick up the results. He is feeling better, but still passing out. Something isn't right.

Anyways, worked a 70 hr week, then a 50 hr week. Exhausted. Nothing fun here, but, work is letting up; just been filling in. Work just include the cooking, so I have been stretched thin.
Planning a trip to St Augustine in Sept; just a weekend, but looking forward to it. Just 3 days away; and to visit where I spread my Mom and Dads ashes. Also planning my trip to Gatlinburg and the Blueridge parkway in Oct for the leaves changing. Another 4-5 day trip. Drive up, see a few things, drive back. Nothing special, just for fun.

Thx C, the docs office even said ... if it was serious, they would of scheduled a appt. They didn't. Just said, he could pic up the results and talk to a nurse about the results. So, that is the good part. We will see.

    Hi all,

Looks like good food all around. Here is our plan:

Sat – We went to an evening thing at our gym, with some special fun classes, childcare, and beverages and snacks on the rooftop deck -- all for free! We came home and had “not-chos” --- I sliced leftover polenta cakes lengthwise (thin), and broiled them with cheddar, and then topped them with a mix of sautéed garlic, onion, red and green peppers, and black beans.

Sun – My husband's cousin came over; we had spaghetti sauce from the freezer with spaghetti and salad.

Mon – Chickpea Macaroni Salad, but I will use leftover cooked quinoa in place of macaroni and add various other things that I have around.

Tue – leftovers from Turkey Tamale Casserole, which have been in the freezer for a while

Wed – 6 people coming for DH's bday dinner; I will make this “summer lasagna” http://www.littlekitchenbigflavors.com/csa-chronicles-gluten-free-summer-squash-lasagna and serve tomato and pesto sauces alongside, with baguette and a big green salad, plus cheesecake (provided by SIL) for dessert

Thu – Baklava Salmon (Salmon With Honey, Butter, Walnuts, and Mustard), Brussels sprouts, not sure of starch

Fri – leftovers from Wed (I am making more than specified in the recipe)

    Have a good week!
