Hi guys I'm new here I hope I ask this in the right place icon_smile.gif

I've bought carrots from the local market and later stored them in a zip lock beg with some paper towels. After 2 days when I touch the paper towels it will be a bit moisten now I wonder why? On a side note the smell of the carrots is still all fine...

All vegetables release moisture - that's why they get wrinkly and dried up. Your paper toweling is capturing it. The carrots are just fine.
