I spoke with the team about these and it seems it is not working correctly. Once you decline taking the survey, you are not supposed to see it again for another 10 weeks. We are working with the company who is responsible for this survey to have the functionality corrected as soon as possible. We apologize for any inconvenience and thank you for your patience!

Well, I had one Blessed [excuse me, the pop down just came down over what I am typing] Day [I think it was Thursday] without the Stalker, but now it is back.

Sometimes, this diabolical thing even keeps evading one's attempt to click No Thanks [so polite!] and you end up with the survey opening anyway.

I do realize, as I have stated before, that you have to generate a lot of revenue, and the site is clearly designed to drive traffic thither and yon like a bunch of sheep, but I think this is really disgusting that you cannot do somehing about this very, very, very, very annoying feature.

But, I'm not surprised, I've never gotten help for actual problems with this site, namely, and being mentioned for the third time---unable to edit my profile [and yes, I am logged in], unable to enlarge font size, though it seems elementary.

As a member since 2005, I remember 'Zaar and the days before "Food".com, when there were consistently 365-500+ Reviews EVERY DAY, as well as many more posted Recipes and Pix...I think the numbers speak loudly for the declining quality and old members using the site...but maybe that's just my take...I think it's sad. Maybe I should look at the bright side and compliment the site on the incredible variety of Emoticons, which are so necessary to modern life.

    Thanks so much.[/u]

To increase/decrease font size, hold down the CTRL key and hit the + or - key to increase or decrease. This works with every browser.

I agree the site is not what it used to be when it was Recipe Zaar. The pop up surveys are disturbing to me because they asked what our level of household income was! What business is it of theirs and what does income level have to do with recipes and cooking?

Thanks Duo, that is what I do; just seems like I ought to be able to do it permanently. Not all of us are 20 years old, and 8 pt type begins to be a real problem.

FOR MY FELLOW SUFFERERS WITH THE EVIL STALKING POP DOWN:

I decided to find out if using plain old Internet Explorer would yield the same results. Happily, when using IE, I found that the ESPD does not show up, so that might be an option if you just want to look at the reviews, etc. unmolested, which I had done every day since 2005...

You will not be "logged in" [which I did not try, but will] and cannot use Cookbooks, etc. Features, but at least you can browse in peace without the Big Nasty Mosquito trailing your every click. Then, if you need to, go back to the logged in site to save recipes, etc.

Well, it's better than dealing with the Stalker.

Good luck, as I don't think this is going to get fixed.

It's odd that yours seems to change - mine does not change from wherever I set it, and believe me, between the need for bifocals and glaucoma, tiny print does no favors for me! Sometimes I inadvertantly change it - some of the mouse buttons seem to do it from time to time. But once I deliberately set it, even after rebooting the right size is there.

I also long for the good old days when Zaar wasn't complicated and it worked.

I started out with AllRecipes and somehow found the Zaar. I thought Zaar was superior because of the quantity of recipes available and the wonderful community.

Y'all don't jump on me and say, "it works for me." I'm glad it works for you, but you aren't me, and it ain't workin' so hot.

It is now June 2,2013 and the pop up survey is still there. When I click to decline it stays on screen.

I just got one for the first time. It was titled "Scorecard Research". It is pretty disturbing, as I block all pop-ups, pop-unders and ads, so this should never have been visible to me. FF21, Windows 7. It did go away when I clicked on No, Thanks, but it should never have been there in the first place.

Just got it again! A pop-up survey from "Scorecard Research". Because I have already opted out of their junk the last time this happened (see above), and also because I block pop-ups, I should NOT be seeing this stuff!!!!!!!!!!!!!! icon_twisted.gif

Hello, just got another pop up and got one last week too, after opting out. Any word how we can stop them?
