    Road trip!
Going to spend a couple of days with our nephew and niece. Their son will be 2 in a week and she is expecting their second child in a week or two as well. It's going to be the first girl born in Don's family for generations. Yay for little girls! icon_cool.gif
Dropping the critters off at the kennel which sort of bums me out. Dawson is only just now starting to calm down and this will send him in to another tizzy. *sigh*

Have a wonderful day everyone. I'll be back tomorrow night.

K9 you are going to have a busy few days. Not much on my agenda. Going in to my Mom's to write out thank you cards - I know I should have done it a few days ago, but had to recover from the 2 AM trip to Mpls. The dogs need grooming, a couple need trimming and I haven't brushed their teeth in forever. Otherwise a pretty lazy day.

I have to get dressed up and go into NYC for a meeting this afternoon. Two train rides, two cab rides and much aggravation in between... I might just have to do some "therapeutic shopping" on my way home! I'll be back early this evening.

Sounds like some fun days! Not sure exactly what will be going on here. Brought home lots of work from the corporate office yesterday so I might be tied to my desk all day. Then again, it's not time sensitive. icon_cool.gif

YUM! I love, love, love roasted garlic. I'll bet your house smells wonderful!

It's a beautiful day here so I go ambitious and repotted four spider plants. Have one more to do but it was time for a little break. icon_cool.gif

I did my volunteer gig, came home to meet the home inspector ( changed insurance companies) he was a piece of work. ACK.

Didn't sleep well last night so I took a quick nap this afternoon...... yawn.

    Ran an errand, making dinner.

Gosh my life is exciting....... Still living the dream.

LOLOL..... well the retail therapy has been postponed until Thurs..... the meeting I was at was WAY longer than anticipated... didn't get a (very crowded) train home until almost 6:30 - after a 15 minute walk through the streets (it would have been a 30 min cab ride). Got home around 7. Whew..... took my second shower of the day and ate a peanut butter sandwich.... LOL

I had a quiet day with my DD. She wanted to go out for lunch so we went to a cute little cafe and had a nice meal.

When we got home, we did manicures and pedicures. Typical girlie stuff!

I mash it well with a fork and add EVOO-I don't salt and pepper it as I do that when I go to cook it (375 degrees, tops cut and placed in a pie plate-EVOO, salt and pepper, cover with foil and bake for 45 min to 1 hour)
If I'm not using it right away I pack it in a sterile canning jar and pour a small amount of EVOO over the top.

For dinner last night I used the roasted garlic puree as my base for white pizza, and it was delish! Tonight I'm going to use some for salad dressing.
