    Recipes print blank

I would like to print recipes but it comes out blank with the just the white page background image with the bent top corner.... nothing that shows up on the page prints out. Its blank in print preview too and I tried two different printers so this must be a site problem. Please let me know what the fix is because I'd like to print recipes! Thanks!

This has been a problem for some but not all users. It's been a bit of a mystery - to illustrate, I can now print recipes (but was unable to for some months), while one of my friends at work (who has the identical computer and software and systems) cannot.

I have a workaround, which I still use, as I think it's easier to use in the kitchen. Instead of Print, click the View Fullscreen button. This gives you a view with ingredients in the left column, instructions in the right. I usually change to a landscape view to make it even more friendly to use. Then print from your browser.

I always have to use this method, at home and at work. So that's two different systems that I can't print normally from.

But instead of printing from the browser, I select File > Print Preview where you'll see a bunch of options. Usually I select Landscape and sometimes I can enlarge it.

That's printing from the browser, but yes, print preview is a faster way to change to landscape view.

Hazeldev, what browser and version are you using?

First make sure you are clicking the PRINT RECIPE tab to the right of the recipe. If you are using the print feature on your browser, you won't get a good printout.

When you click the Print button, do you get a print preview page to pop up? The recipe will be on the left and a box with options to select Page Size, Print Size as well as to include About this Recipe, Nutritional Info, Photo, Private Note, Reviews, Coupon/Ad. If not, is the preview page popping up behind the window you are viewing? Does that print preview page look OK?

If you see no print preview page, hold down the control key and click the Print button. If that works, you need to adjust your security settings because your security program thinks the print preview page is a pop-up ad and is blocking it.

Click to PRINT off of this print preview page after selecting page size and options. Let us know if you need further help.
