My daughter is looking for different recipes from different places. She is interested in trying to make foods from all over the world.
If anyone could share some recipes that would be greatly appriciated.
    Thank you kindly,

Oh Kimmie. You have come to the right place. On July 1st sign ups start for ZWT9. What is that? 200 of us virtually travel the world and try recipes. We are divided up into teams and it is a whole lot of fun! Sign ups happen in the contest and events forum.

Also in the contest and events forum, a group of us are traveling to every country, 6 every 2 months. We just started in May, so it would be easy to catch up.

Let us know if you are interested or have questions.

There is also a forum for any given area of the globe, so you can pinpoint what you are interested in. Go to "Regional Cuisine Forums" in the drop-down menu, or use this link http://www.food.com/bb/index.zsp?c=6.

Also, you can type the name of a country or region into the search bar and see what comes up - it's best to search with the word as a noun and as an adjective - for example, Algeria and then a second search with Algerian, as you won't get quite the same results.

The Recipe Sifter also has at least some cuisines/countries listed, but I suspect that you will find more than enough recipes to consider by doing the things that have already been suggested.

I picked up a copy of the following at a library book sale.

Metzelthin, Pearl V. World Wide Cook Book. New York: Julian Messner, Inc., 1939. Second printing, 1949.

$1.99 starting bid for the first edition on ebay.

    mmm

Try Indian if you like different spices.. we are in love w/Tikka Masala with chicken, and I will simmer yams and peas in Butter Sauce and some pita or naan bread to go with it..oh, and, jasmine rice.

Try Jewish Penicillin = chicken soup w/matzoh balls, parsnips and dill.
