Well ladies, I must appologize for my disappearing act. My husband just got home from a two-week hospital stay in which I very nearly lost him! Oh my goodness, we've both been through the wringer here, but DO NOT WORRY, I have the apron! icon_exclaim.gif I've only been driving home every other day to clean up and catch few hours of sleep, then back to Tacoma to his bedside. I'll be getting the apron ready to ship up to Unknown Chef 86 over the weekend. Then I'm going to get my house in order and start cooking up a storm to fatten this man back up. He looks like he's aged 20 years in just a few weeks. icon_cry.gif

PotPie - so sorry to hear that. I know that until I got the cancer, I had taken my health so much for granted. I had just never been sick before that. Never been to hospital.

Yes, it is all so draining. Keep him close. Love him and yourself. Fatten him up with WHATEVER he wants (there's time for good health after he's stronger).

    Goodness, I'm all emotional again.

Yes ladies, I am still alive! But I'm so far behind I think I'm first. Once again, I am SO SORRY for my tardiness about getting along with things, I have been overwhelmed. Thank you all very much for your uplifting comments. Recovery from this ordeal will take about 6 months, so say the docs, and so far it has been very slow and painful. I FINALLY got the apron in the mail heading towards Unknown Chef 86 just today, though! Sorry for holding things up! I took a picture of the apron, but am not sure if I'm supposed to post it. icon_biggrin.gif

I couldn't figure out why my photobucket wouldn't work. My daughter used Google Chrome on my computer and now half my stuff has to go through it. icon_evil.gif
Anyway, here's a pic of the apron before I sent it off! Any word of it?

I have written a letter to the person concerned and they should receive it by the end of this week - the biggest problem is that they only gave me a post office box address, I know from their journal the person has been on site recently but by the looks of things doesn't check their message box, so it is fingers crossed that we hear from the them soon.
