    Sunny Twinkles Allium

I love Sunny Twinkles, but when I moved, I didn't think to dig any up, and I think the new owners' dogs dug up the bulbs I had planted. Does anyone know where I can find some? Same goes for Naked Ladies.

I never heard of sunny twinkles until your post caused me to do a search. Oh, I love those (I am a HUGE yellow fan). But man-o-man they are VERY hard to find. There's a person on Dave's Garden who posted that they have some bulbs for trade but who knows what they will trade for (have had experiences on DG where the person holding on to what you want can be VERY tight-fisted). Their post was from March so maybe still open?

I have naked ladies if you want some. They tend to multiply around here quite freely. They are in their die-back mode right now and then the blooms will pop up in late July-early August (I am in west KY zone 7a).

I do not have any Sunny Twinkles, but have also been looking for the bulbs as I think they are so pretty. Anyway, I had saved this site ~ they have 10 bulbs for 4.99. I haven't ordered yet, so have no idea how much shipping will be.

I looked at the link you posted and the bulbs are a good price at $4.99 for ten. But I would have to like them a LOT because shipping to my area would be another $14.00. Also, you can't get any bulbs until fall (which makes sense) so if you place an order now, it will be for fall shipment.

Would be nice if you could find someone who has these and is willing to share icon_biggrin.gif. Maybe post a request on some gardening sites?

Yes, it would be wonderful to find someone who was willing to share.

I checked to see how much shipping would be for me, and it's $13.99 -- I refuse to pay that amount so will keep looking. I'm going to call each of my local gardening stores and ask if they are planning on ordering the bulbs.

KeeWee, I would love some naked lady bulbs. Leave me an inbox message about getting them here to Missouri. Thanks!!

I planted some Love Lies Bleeding seed and I think it all washed away with the excess rain we got last month. Over 9 inches of rain! At least the drought is over.

Yup ~ we had 4" last Sunday and more to come. Unusually wet and cool spring.

Do you want to wait until the ladies bloom so I can find them? Otherwise you may get a few daffs mixed in here and there. All are dormant right now but the ladies will bloom in about a month.
