I grew up on Eclipse Coffee Syrup...haven't seen it since I left NE in 1965!
    Coffee syrup is da bomb!

Now.....3 scoops of good....really good french vanilla ice cream in a blender, a good squeeze of coffee syrup & just enough milk to lube it so it all spins & you have a Newport Creamery Awful Awful.

Gotta be thick enough to almost make the top of your head go concave when sucking on the straw. rotfl.gif

Guess you'd better stick with that store.
Friendly's sold Awful Awfuls, too, way back in the day.

This weekend, we got some coffee ice cream and she mixed it with the coffee syrup and a little milk… I told her about your “awful awful” so she called it the “coffee coffee awful awful”
    (she REALLY likes coffee!)
